Trust and estate tax returns (Form 1041) are core services offered to our clients. My trust work focuses on grantor or irrevocable trusts that require a separate tax return (Form 1041) to be filed apart from the individual (From 1040) tax return. Typically revocable trusts do not require separate tax return reporting while the taxpayer is alive.
My estate work focuses on income that needs to be reported after the death of a taxpayer until the assets are distributed to the beneficiaries.
Small business tax return preparation and filing instructions is a core service offered to my clients. Whether your company is a Limited Liability Company, Partnership or Sole Proprietor a properly prepared tax return can be filed to minimize the tax owed.
A core specialty is the preparation of tax returns for individual taxpayers, including year round tax planning and support.
Tax planning and tax forecasting services for individual and small business clients is a core competency of my practice. Effective tax minimization begins with long-term tax strategizing to establish overall objectives and is maintained with conscientious and consistent annual tax forecasting and mid-year tax planning.

An audit is a review or examination of a taxpayer’s tax return to ensure information is reported correctly according to the tax laws and to verify the reported amount of tax paid is correct.
There are three types of audits: correspondence, field, and office. A correspondence audit is the most common audit and handled through the mail with IRS letters. A field audit is a face to face audit where an IRS representative will meet with the taxpayer at the taxpayer’s home or business. An office audit is a face to face audit where an IRS representative will meet the taxpayer at an IRS office.
As enrolled agents, we are licensed to represent taxpayers in front of the IRS. When a taxpayer is audited, we are able to work on behalf of the taxpayer with the IRS or state authorities to resolve all three types of audits.
There are many plans available from the IRS to help clients to best meet their tax liabilities. I will review each situation and determine the best plan which may include an installment agreement, offer in compromise (OIC), etc.
